Its that time again:
Today, I am introducing you to Candi. She owns Candiland Dessert Company and blogs at A Day in Candiland.
I love cupcakes, chocolate, cookies, and just about anything involving dessert! If you are like me, you will not be able to survive a trip to her blog. Go ahead and visit her- but remember, I warned you!
Not only does Candi bake the most amazing looking desserts ever, but she is a mom, a wife, and loves her Palm Springs home.
This is what you will see when visiting A Day in Candiland.
Candi blogs about her life and adventures in Palm Springs and in the baking world. She also shares yummy tricks and recipes.
She also writes about her love of tea- time. Candi is not only an amazing blogger, but she is such a great addition to the Misfit Bloggers. I am so glad to have her in our group.
Head on over to A Day In Candiland, and congratulate her on the big move to WordPress.

I am so happy to be introducing some of you to a dear friend today.
Some of you already know this spectacular lady!
Not only is Sylver one of the most interesting people I have had the honor of meeting, she is just an amazing person in general.
Sylver blogs about her gypsy life. She travels the world, studies Journalism, and is a freelance writer. I don’t know how in the world she keeps up with everything because she also works at a wildlife rescue.
Sylver has a blog like no other and always has something interesting to read on her blog.
I think my favorite posts are the Medieval life posts! (I look forward to them every week)
Sylver, thank you for sharing your travels and your unique voice with the world.
Thank you for being a constant source of encouragement, humor, and ideas.
I am proud to be in the Misfit Bloggers with you.
(Don’t forget to snag your award!)
Have you visited Sylver?
You must you must!

In case you guys have been wondering where I have been, I took the weekend off.
Friday evening was very stressful, my husband was in a wreck that totaled the car, and could have been seriously injured.
We spent the weekend enjoying some family time and celebrating our time together.
Even if it is just a trip to the grocery store, appreciate your time together, and DATE your spouse!
Be thankful for a full bed.
- At Dollywood
- In Cherokee, NC
I would say those to little words all over again!
Six years together and he is still my Knight In Shining Armor
(and I am still his QUEEN)
This week’s Best of The Web is very suiting!
This week, continuing with our Weekly Rendezvous, we are visiting Still Dating My Spouse.
Pamela is a genius who is obviously still very much in love with her husband.
She and her husband have been married for 13 years, and are still dating!
This amazing lady owns 2 businesses, has this amazing blog, tweets, and still finds time for her husband.
She is definitely an inspiration to me, and I absolutely love reading her blog.
(I can’t forget that she is a social media genius as well!)
Whether you are dating, just married, or married for 50 years, you will benefit from Still Dating My Spouse!
Even if you aren’t in a relationship, you will gain insight into communicating with those around you.
Head on over and visit her, you will not be disappointed.
Pamela, Be sure to grab your award badge!
Later this week: That time I embarrassed myself in front of the drifters!

NighLon is going to be doing the Best of the Web a little different for a few weeks.
My blogging buddies and I have started a challenge.
We are critiquing each other’s blogs.
First of all, I want to say that I am so lucky to be involved in this groups with some of the most amazing women I have had the pleasure of getting to know!
This week’s blog critique is for The Air Force Wife.
Rachel shares her journey of not only being a newlywed, but also the wife to an airman.
She shares her daily struggles as well as all the fabulous things that military life offer.
Her husband is newly graduated from Basic Training and they are being shipped to Florida.
One of the biggest challenges for her is that she has never lived away from her home in South Dakota.
She offers her readers an inside look to her challenges, as well as tips to help military wives deal with their own.
Rachel allows her readers to join in on her magnificent journey.
She has such a beautiful blog as well as an extraordinary view on life.
Even if you aren’t associated with the military in any way, I’m sure you can find some enjoyment at The Air Force Wife.
Big surprise: next week, NighLon will be getting a critique from these lovely ladies!
